What is Pilates?
Pilates is a body conditioning program focusing on body and mind connection; a perfect workout based on quality of movement instead of quantity and suitable for any level of fitness. Women, men and teens enjoy a host of great results when engaging in our program. All Pilate’s exercises are low impact and are, in many cases, suitable for individuals recovering from injury. Doctor’s approval is suggested when diagnosed with an injury. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, the program of exercise emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength and flexibility.
